Reworked the character controller
So I've been running in circles trying to fix how the moving platforms work to no avail. I couldn't seem to eliminate the stuttering when they're moving up/down even though I seem to know what caused it. As such, I've gone out of my way to completely rework the character controller using a new system which should allow for me to handle the aforementioned situation much smoother than before.
Right now, however, moving platforms do not move the player at all. I will be working on this tomorrow or the day after - depending on how much time I have after completing another module of a course I'm doing at the moment.
This update contains the reworked character controller, a rebinding of the BURST mechanic to LShift and partial controller support. I haven't fully tested whether or not you can fully beat the game with a controller, nor have I tested controllers other than a PS5 one. I've also added a little bit more into the abyss section of the game, but it's still not reachable yet as I'm unsure how I want to transition to the new area.
On top of this, more sounds have been added to the game to improve the player experience. Music should be fully functioning now, including looping which took me a while to figure out due to using a new system for handling audio within the game.
This is by far the largest project I've worked on so far, and I've learned so much from playing around with new features. Please let me know what you think!
